AEU Board – ensuring strategic relevance and quality
AEU is organized under Universities Denmark, whose mission is to ensure sector-wide collaboration and relevant advocacy for Danish universities. To support this mission, Universities Denmark is structured around several committees and working groups that continuously share experiences, discuss challenges, and make recommendations for the development of the university sector, including research and education.
Role of the Board
The AEU Board oversees the strategic direction of AEU and ensures that all continuing education and networking activities meet the needs of the sector. The Board is responsible for maintaining high quality, relevance, and cross-institutional value across all AEU initiatives.
Composition
The Chair of Universities Denmark’s HR Group also serves as Chair of the AEU Board.
In addition, the Board includes three members appointed for a four-year term. Appointments are made to ensure broad institutional and professional representation as well as continuity in the Board’s work. Members may be reappointed.
